How Do I Place an Order?
There are severals ways you can place an order: online, phone, snail mail or email. As a friendly gesture, please let us remind you to never ever ever include your credit card information in an email - once we have received your initial email we will contact you by telephone.
How Do I Place an Order Online?
Our online boutique has been specifically designed to be an enjoyable means of shopping. Simply click the left hand box of the item you are interested in purchasing and then click the "Add to Cart" button. If at any time you wish to view the items in your cart left click on the "My Cart" button located in the navigation bar on the top of the page.
Acceptable Forms of Payment
We are able to accept several forms of payment at this time; cheque, money order, Paypal, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) and cold hard cash are all acceptable means of payment. Paying by Paypal requires a Paypal user account, which is completely free for customers. At this time we are able to accept credit card and Paypal payments for online purchases only - we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please note that Payment Method (located on the top left corner of each page) does not refer to forms of payment; this relates to purchasing packages and is described in the "Purchasing a Package" and "Payment Method" sections below.
What is This Lightbox Thing?
The Lightbox is
your collection of favourite images! If you see something you like check the "Lightbox" box - we'll save up to 30 images for you to look at later. At any point you can see the contents of your lightbox by clicking the "Lightbox" link in the navigation bar on the top of each page.
If you wish to purchase an image that is in your lightbox, click on the
thumbnail to view the enlarged image. Select the items that you want to
purchase and click on the "Add to Cart" button.
Purchasing a Package
When you purchase a package it acts as a credit on your account. Once you've purchased your package you may then go ahead and choose the fine art prints or notecards your package contains. When the time comes for you to pay you simply select 'Package' from the Payment Method drop down menu located on the top left of your screen and your choices will automatically be counted as the package you purchased earlier. As it is impossible to carry over a balance with packages it is necessary that you checkout
your order only when your shopping cart exactly matches your chosen package's contents.
To Pay Per Purchase (PPP) or Package?: Payment Methods
You will need to
tell our shopping cart which payment method you would like to use to pay
for your purchases. By default the payment method is PPP (pay per purchase).
Using this payment method you will need to pay during the checkout process.
If you have purchased a package you
can select this in the Payment Method drop down menu.
You need to purchase packages before you are able to use them. They can
be purchased through the Packages page.
Shopping Cart
The shopping cart
displays your order details; if you wish to delete a selection from your order
before proceeding to checkout, simply hit the remove link on the right side.
Checking Out
You will need to
login to checkout your order. If you are new to the site please complete
the registration form to create a username and password. This information
is stored, so that you can return to the site to make future purchases and
so that we can review your orders. We utilize
PayPal for purchases made on this site.
Return Policy
Cancelling an Order: In the unfortunate event that you feel you must cancel an order, please advise us of this as soon as possible; we will be more than happy to cancel any order that hasn't already been shipped. If an order has been shipped and you still wish to cancel it, you will be reimbursed the full amount of the order less shipping charges once we receive the returned item(s). This same policy applies to refused shipments.
Incorrect, Incomplete or Damaged Orders: At The Everyday Kumquat we believe each order deserves to be loved, cherished and bubbled-wrapped as if it were our own. If an order does not arrive in this fashion, please email us at info@everydaykumquat.com. Once we have been advised of the problem, please return the items in their original packaging; replacement items will be shipped immediately upon return of damaged or incorrect items, without charge. All claims for missing/damaged/wrong items must be made within 3 business days from the date the package was received.
